Active Flexibility Part II

Service Description

This class is designed as an extension to the 1-hour Active Flexibility class before it (please come to the 1h class to warm up and condition first!). Part II focuses on specific skills and sequences that we can access given the first hour of flexibility training. Here we will work in more depth on skills/transitions in shapes such as cobra, bridge, frontbends, splits with backbends, forearm/arm balances, and more. Active Flexibility Part II is intended for those beginning to work on higher level skills beyond Active Flexibility Part I. The recommended prerequisites for this class are a i) comfortable bridge hold (at least 15 seconds), ii) ability to comfortably reach palms to the ground in a forward fold, iii) some comfort holding handstands on the wall (at least 15s recommended). Not quite there yet? Keep coming to the first hour of class! In terms of equipment, all you need is a wall and some yoga blocks, but bands will also sometimes be useful!
